Oceanside, CA – Motorcycle Officer Injured in Collision on I-5 Con to SR-76

Oceanside, CA (February 17, 2025) – An Oceanside Police Department motorcycle officer was injured in a collision with a vehicle on the Interstate 5 connector to eastbound State Route 76 on the morning of February 17. The accident occurred at around 9:43 a.m., according to authorities. The officer, who had just completed a detail and was returning to the department, was hospitalized following the crash. Police confirmed that the officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision was unharmed and has been cooperative with investigators.
