Oceanside, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on I-5 N/Aliso Creek Rest Area
Oceanside, CA (April 20, 2025) – On Sunday morning, April 20, a motorcyclist was injured following a collision involving a black SUV along Interstate 5 North near the Aliso Creek Rest Area in San Diego County. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers arrived at the scene around 10:58 a.m. to find the motorcycle in the center divider and the rider walking along the right-hand shoulder. Initial reports suggest the motorcycle collided with a black sport utility vehicle under unclear circumstances.
The rider, whose name has not yet been released, sustained injuries in the crash. Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, and the motorcyclist was assessed before being transported to a local hospital for further treatment. CHP units coordinated towing services to remove the damaged motorcycle, and a flatbed truck was called in to assist with recovery operations. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
