Oceanside, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5/Harbor Drive Leaves Injuries

Oceanside, CA (May 4, 2025) – On the afternoon of May 3, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Harbor Drive, close to Camp Pendleton and the Coaster Station, resulting in multiple injuries. According to local authorities, the crash involved a black Dodge Ram, a black Alfa Romeo, and potentially a third unidentified vehicle. Initial reports suggest that one of the vehicles may have rear-ended a BMW, triggering a chain-reaction collision.

Paramedics from San Diego County responded quickly and treated injured individuals at the scene. At least two people were transported to nearby medical facilities for further care. The crash caused significant traffic delays as emergency crews worked to clear debris and investigate the scene. Officers from the California Highway Patrol are conducting an active investigation into the cause of the crash.
