Oceanside, CA – Collision on I-5 N/Carlsbad Village Results in Injuries
Oceanside, CA (April 14, 2025) – On April 13, a three-vehicle crash on the northbound side of Interstate 5 just south of Carlsbad Village Drive led to multiple injuries. Authorities from the California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene at around 11:43 a.m. and confirmed that the crash involved a black Chevrolet Tahoe and two other vehicles that were blocking the number 1 and number 2 lanes.
The crash scene created a serious traffic hazard, prompting immediate response from local tow services and Freeway Service Patrol units. Eyewitnesses noted that one of the drivers appeared disoriented following the crash and needed assistance getting out of the vehicle. One injured party was treated on-site before being transported to a local hospital for further medical care. The full scope of the injuries remains unclear at this time. The freeway lanes were closed temporarily while crews worked to remove the wreckage and clear debris.
