Oceanside, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-5/Basilone Rd Leaves One Injured

Oceanside, CA (April 29, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5, just south of Basilone Road, resulted in one person injured on Tuesday morning, April 29. According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports, the crash involved a black Chevrolet Volt and a black Honda sedan. Authorities responded swiftly to secure the scene and assist those involved. Initial assessments confirmed that one person sustained injuries in the accident. It remains unclear whether the injuries required hospital transportation or were treated at the scene.
