Oceanside, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-5 N Results in Injuries

Oceanside, CA (April 10, 2025) – A traffic accident involving a red Toyota RAV4 and a black sedan occurred on the northbound side of I-5 near the Viewpoint exit in Oceanside on April 10th, resulting in at least one injury.

The collision prompted an immediate response from the California Highway Patrol and Oceanside Police Department. First responders found the two vehicles with visible damage, with debris scattered on the roadway. At least one occupant from the vehicles sustained injuries and was assisted at the scene before being taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

The nature and extent of the injuries have not yet been confirmed, but they are believed to be non-life-threatening. Authorities have not yet stated what caused the crash, but weather conditions and speed are both being considered as possible factors.
