Oceanside, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5/Palomar Airport Leaves Injuries

Oceanside, CA (April 14, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident that occurred on the morning of April 13 along the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the Palomar Airport Road exit resulted in injuries. California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 8:59 a.m. after receiving reports of a stalled vehicle in the number 3 lane. When authorities arrived, they discovered a silver Nissan sedan and a blue Volkswagen Golf involved in the crash.

Initial assessments confirmed that at least one individual sustained injuries in the crash. Medical responders provided aid on-site, and the injured party was later transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. The extent of the injuries has not been made public. Tow trucks were promptly dispatched to clear both vehicles from the scene. Investigations are currently underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
