Oceanside, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Las Pulgas Results in Injuries

Oceanside, CA (March 29, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 South, just south of Las Pulgas, resulted in injuries and traffic delays late Saturday night, March 29. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred at approximately 10:52 p.m. and involved a Honda Civic and a white Tesla. Both vehicles veered off the roadway, crashing into a ditch along the right-hand shoulder. Initial reports indicate that one of the drivers remained inside their vehicle while the other was able to exit.

Emergency responders, including an ambulance and fire crews, arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance. The extent of the injuries sustained has not been disclosed, but those injured required evaluation by paramedics. Due to the location of the crash, a tow truck with extended cable equipment was requested to retrieve the vehicles. The California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the cause of the accident.
