Oceanside, CA – Two-Vehicle Wreck on I-5/Aliso Creek Rest Area Leaves Injuries

Oceanside, CA (April 29, 2025) – On the evening of April 29, a two-vehicle collision occurred along northbound Interstate 5 near the Aliso Creek Rest Area, resulting in one reported injury. According to California Highway Patrol reports, officers arrived at the scene at approximately 7:08 p.m. A white Toyota Prius and a black Chevrolet Tahoe were involved in the crash, with the Prius veering into the center divider for reasons not immediately known. Paramedics assessed one person for injuries at the scene. The extent of the injuries remains undisclosed. CHP officers remained on-site for over an hour to investigate the incident. Investigations into the exact cause of the crash are still underway.
