Orange Co., CA – Motorcycle-Car Wreck on I-5, Injuries Reported
Orange County, CA (March 20, 2025) – A collision involving a motorcycle and a black Toyota Prius occurred on the Interstate 5 freeway in Orange County on the evening of March 20. The crash reported around 6:12 PM, left the motorcycle rider and other parties with non-life-threatening injuries. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident took place in the center divider of the freeway. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle collided with the Toyota Prius, causing both vehicles to come to a stop in the divider.
The rider, who was still breathing but unable to move, remained on the ground until emergency responders arrived. CHP Unit C55-092 was first on the scene and confirmed that all parties involved complained of pain but sustained only non-life-threatening injuries. The mother of one of the individuals exited her vehicle to assist, while the Freeway Service Patrol worked to clear the scene. A flatbed tow truck was requested to remove the damaged vehicles. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
