Orange Co., CA – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-5 S Near I-405 Causes Injuries
Orange County, CA (April 10, 2025) – A three-vehicle accident on April 10 along the southbound lanes of I-5 near the I-405 interchange in Orange County resulted in injuries. California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene around 6:24 p.m. and confirmed that the vehicles involved were a red Nissan Altima, a white Mini Cooper, and a gray sedan. At least one individual was reported injured and received emergency care from on-site medics. The injured person was later transported to a local medical facility for further evaluation. Responders worked swiftly to remove the vehicles from the lanes and assess any hazardous conditions caused by the crash. CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision. Preliminary assessments have not identified any arrests or citations, and it remains unclear whether impairment or distraction played a role.
