Portland, OR – Injury Crash on I-5 Near Oregon-Washington Border 

Portland, OR (April 20, 2025) – On Sunday, April 20, a multi-vehicle crash with reported injuries occurred along a stretch of Interstate 5 near the Oregon-Washington border, causing slowdowns and delays in both directions. According to the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), the collision took place on a busy section of the interstate, leading to an immediate response from local law enforcement and emergency personnel.

The number of vehicles involved in the crash has not been confirmed, but officials reported that one individual sustained injuries. Paramedics from the Portland Fire & Rescue Department arrived at the scene to assess and treat those injured. The injured person was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care, while others were evaluated on-site.  Police continued their investigation into the cause of the collision. Authorities have not released the names of those involved.
