Portland, OR – Injury Crash on NB I-5 at Exit 300B & SE Water Ave.  

Portland, OR (May 2, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on the northbound I-5 freeway near Exit 300B and SE Water Avenue in Portland resulted in injuries on the evening of May 2nd. The Portland Police Bureau and Oregon State Patrol responded to the crash, which occurred just before midnight and involved two vehicles. Early reports indicate that traffic had slowed near the exit when the crash occurred, potentially contributing to the severity of the impact. One individual sustained moderate injuries and was transported by paramedics to a local hospital for further treatment. Emergency personnel blocked multiple lanes as they attended to the scene, creating delays for northbound commuters during the response and cleanup. Authorities remained on-site for over an hour to manage traffic, coordinate tow efforts, and document the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
