Portland, OR – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5/Ross Island Bridge

Portland, OR (April 9, 2025) – On the afternoon of April 9th, a multi-vehicle accident occurred on the northbound side of I-5 just south of the Ross Island Bridge, resulting in one reported injury.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 3:40 p.m. after multiple callers reported a collision involving several vehicles. First responders arrived quickly and assisted those involved. One person sustained injuries and received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Authorities are continuing to investigate the exact cause of the crash.
