Portland, OR – Injury Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on NB I-5/S Macadam Ave

Portland, OR (March 14, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on northbound Interstate 5 at South Macadam Avenue resulted in injuries and traffic delays on the morning of March 14. According to the Portland Police Department, the crash involved multiple vehicles that collided under unclear circumstances.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance to those injured. One individual sustained injuries requiring transportation to a nearby hospital, while others received on-site evaluation. The responding authorities worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause of the accident.   Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes as the accident scene caused backups along I-5. Cleanup efforts took approximately an hour before all lanes were reopened.
