Portland, OR – Multi-Vehicle Crash on NB I-5/Terwilliger Blvd. Leaves Injuries

Portland, OR (November 16, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on northbound I-5 near milepost 297 and the Terwilliger Boulevard interchange left several people injured on Sunday morning, November 16. According to the Portland Police Bureau, officers and Oregon State Patrol troopers responded just after the collision was reported. Multiple vehicles were found damaged in the roadway, with debris scattered across the travel lanes.

Authorities said at least one driver suffered moderate injuries and received on-scene medical assessment before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Other occupants involved were evaluated at the scene and later released. Traffic briefly slowed for nearly an hour as officers worked to document the crash and coordinate the removal of the disabled vehicles. Investigators are still determining what caused the collision.
