Portland, OR – SB I-5 Bridge Crash Leaves One Injured near South End

Portland, OR (April 12, 2025) – On April 12, a traffic collision on the southbound I-5 bridge near the southern end of Portland resulted in injuries. According to the Portland Police Bureau, the accident occurred just before noon and involved multiple vehicles on the busy bridge stretch. Responding officers and medics arrived promptly and found one person injured. That individual received on-site treatment before being taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
