Portland, OR – Two-Vehicle Crash on NB I-5 at N Ainsworth St Causes Injuries

Portland, OR (January 10, 2025) – A serious accident involving two vehicles occurred on the northbound lanes of I-5 near N Ainsworth Street on January 7, leaving multiple individuals injured. The Portland Police Department reported that the crash occurred during the afternoon rush hour. Emergency medical teams assessed the victims at the scene before transporting some to local hospitals for further care.

Crews worked diligently to clear the wreckage and restore normal traffic flow, which was delayed for several hours.  The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are still under investigation.
