Sacramento, CA – Hit and Run Incident on I-5 in District 3 Leads to Injuries 

Sacramento, CA (August 14, 2023) – In the early hours of August 14th, a hit-and-run incident on I-5 in North Sacramento, District 3, resulted in injuries and prompted an ongoing investigation.

Upon receiving the report, California Highway Patrol (CHP) swiftly arrived at the scene. The collision involved multiple vehicles, causing unknown injuries to those involved. An ambulance was en route to the location to provide medical assistance and transport the injured parties to the hospital.

One of the vehicles, located at 6230 W 6th St, was identified as a suspect in the hit-and-run. The driver was detained by law enforcement at the scene.

SWIMS Towing was called to the scene to assist with clearing the wreckage. The impacted area experienced a temporary closure as investigators and responders worked to address the situation. The roadway was later cleared by CHP Unit C46-105.

As investigations into the incident continue, authorities aim to determine the sequence of events and hold responsible parties accountable.
