Sacramento, CA – Hit and Run with Injuries Reported on I-5 North near Del Paso Road

Sacramento, CA (September 17, 2023) – On the morning of September 17th, a hit-and-run accident with injuries occurred on I-5 North, just south of Del Paso Road in District 3, Sacramento.

First responders from the Sacramento Fire Department quickly arrived at the scene. Initially, it was reported as a hit and run with no injuries, but upon assessment, they confirmed injuries were involved. The victim’s vehicle, driven by an unidentified individual, was struck from behind, causing it to spin around.

Emergency services swiftly acted, and the injured party was transferred to receive medical attention. The damaged vehicle, which was no longer drivable, was loaded onto a tow truck from Deluxe Towing. It was placed on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway.

The incident remains under investigation as authorities work to gather more information about the unknown vehicle that fled the scene after causing this accident.
