Sacramento, CA – Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 North at W El Camino Offramp
Sacramento, CA (August 11, 2023) – A multi-vehicle collision occurred on the afternoon of August 11th, causing injuries and prompting a response from emergency services. The incident took place on the northbound lanes of I-5 North at the W El Camino offramp in District 3, South Sacramento, on August 11th.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene to assess the situation. The collision involved four vehicles, including a blue Toyota Prius, a white Ford Ranger with a lumber rack, a red Toyota RAV, and an additional cargo van.
Emergency services acted immediately to ensure the safety of those involved and provided on-site medical assistance to the injured. While the injured were taken to a local hospital, the exact extent of the injuries sustained by the victims was not disclosed in the initial report.
Firefighters from SAC FIRE and the California Highway Patrol units worked together to clear the debris and wreckage, allowing traffic to flow again.
