Sacramento, CA – Injuries in Two-Car Wreck on I-5/S & 43rd Ave Offramp

Sacramento, CA (September 2, 2024) – A car crash involving two vehicles was reported on the morning of September 2 in Sacramento’s South Land Park neighborhood. The accident occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the offramp for 43rd Avenue. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) was notified of the crash at around 10:56 a.m., prompting the dispatch of emergency medical services to the scene. Upon arrival, CHP officers found two vehicles involved in the collision, with at least one person sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. First responders provided on-site medical assessment and treated the injured parties- Those requiring further care and examination were transported to area hospitals. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by CHP.
