Sacramento, CA – Injury Crash on I-5 S at Richards Blvd Off-Ramp

Sacramento, CA (April 25, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a white sedan and an unidentified vehicle caused injuries on I-5 South near the Richards Boulevard off-ramp early Friday morning, April 25. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene shortly after the crash occurred, around 7:15 AM. Preliminary reports indicate that both vehicles collided while approaching the off-ramp, resulting in moderate damage and one person sustaining injuries. Emergency medical personnel assessed the injured victim at the scene before transporting them to a nearby Sacramento hospital for further evaluation. CHP is currently investigating the cause of the crash. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
