Sacramento, CA – Injury Traffic Collision on I-5 North at Garden Hwy

Sacramento, CA (July 18, 2023) – A traffic collision with injuries occurred on the morning of July 18th on I-5 North at Garden Hwy in District 3 of North Sacramento. The collision involved a blue Ford Fusion and a white pick-up truck, both located on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene to respond to the incident. Additionally, the FSP reported the incident involved a party in a blue Ford Fusion versus a white pick-up truck on the right-hand shoulder of the Northbound 5 on Garden Highway off-ramp.

The CHP confirmed that one of the involved parties was injured. The Sacramento Fire Department was informed and the injured party was subsequently attended to and later transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.

The CHP is handling investigations into the underlying cause at this time.
