Sacramento, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on NB I-5/Power Line Rd Causes Injuries

Sacramento, CA (May 6, 2025) – On the afternoon of May 6, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Power Line Road in Sacramento, leaving multiple individuals injured. According to Caltrans camera footage, at least three vehicles were involved in the crash. Two of the cars stopped in the middle of the freeway, while a third vehicle was seen pulled over on the shoulder. California Highway Patrol officers and Sacramento Fire Department units responded swiftly to the scene to assess injuries and assist those involved. The extent of injuries has not yet been released, but several individuals were evaluated on-site, with some requiring transport to nearby medical facilities for further care. Authorities temporarily restricted traffic flow while the scene was cleared and an initial investigation was conducted. The California Highway Patrol is still reviewing the cause of the crash.
