Sacramento, CA – Semi-Truck Crash on I-5/Metro Air Pkwy. Injures One
Sacramento, CA (November 16, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a black semi-truck, a Lexus, and a Toyota Corolla caused injuries on Interstate 5 northbound near Metro Air Parkway on Sunday, November 16. According to the California Highway Patrol, officers initially dispatched the call as an ambulance response due to the severity of the impact.
When authorities arrived, they found the semi-truck and the passenger vehicles pulled off to the right shoulder with extensive damage. Responding medics treated one injured person at the scene before transporting them to Woodland Memorial Hospital for further evaluation. CHP noted that the semi-truck driver allegedly attempted to leave the scene before being directed to stop for an exchange of information.
Towing services were requested for the damaged vehicles, and officers documented skid marks, debris, and witness accounts as part of their investigation.
