Sacramento, CA – Serious Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 North at Florin Rd E Offramp Results in Injuries

Sacramento, CA (September 6, 2023) – A serious multi-vehicle collision occurred on Wednesday, September 6th, on I-5 North at the Florin Rd E offramp, just north of Pocket in South Sacramento’s District 3.

At around 7:10 AM, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene to respond to the incident, which involved a black Honda sedan, a gray Honda sedan, and two semis.

All three vehicles, including the black Honda sedan, the gray Honda sedan, and the two semis, were situated on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway.

The collision caused significant injuries to the individuals involved. Details about injuries sustained by the involved parties remain unknown at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation. However, first responders actively worked to assess the injured and provide the necessary medical assistance.
