Sacramento, CA – Subaru Driver Hospitalized Following Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5 near I-80

Sacramento, CA (December 13, 2024) – A serious crash involving three vehicles occurred on I-5 Southbound near I-80 on Friday evening, December 13 leaving one person injured.

The California Highway Patrol reported that a Hyundai rear-ended a Subaru, causing the latter to veer across multiple lanes. The Subaru ultimately collided with a big rig, striking its passenger side. Witnesses stated the impact left the Subaru driver unconscious. Emergency responders arrived promptly and transported the injured driver to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. Their condition remains undisclosed at this time.
