Sacramento, CA – Traffic Collision With Injuries on I-5 North at Metro Air Pkwy Offramp

Sacramento, CA (July 7, 2023) – On the night of July 6, a traffic collision occurred on the northbound lanes of I-5 at the Metro Air Parkway offramp in Sacramento, resulting in injuries to the involved parties.

At around 10:12 p.m., the California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene to assess the situation and provide assistance. As a result of the accident, a black Ford Focus collided with another vehicle, leading to a multiple-vehicle collision.

Additionally, there was another vehicle, an older Volkswagen Beetle, that ended up in a ditch approximately 50 feet away from the roadway.

Reportedly, one individual complained of pain in the ribs. The injured party was evaluated and received treatment on-site before being transported for further medical attention.

The incident is currently under investigation by the CHP.
