Sacramento, CA – Traffic Collision with Injuries on I-5 South at Airport Blvd Onramp

Sacramento, CA (July 10, 2023) – A traffic collision occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 near the Airport Boulevard onramp in Sacramento today, July 10th, at around 3:19 PM, resulting in injuries to those involved.

Upon arrival at the scene, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) dispatched Deluxe Towing and the Sacramento Fire Department. The involved vehicles, a white Ford F-150 and a black VW Jetta were stuck together and unable to move, as both vehicles had sustained damage.

A responding ambulance transported the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, the exact nature of the injuries sustained by the individuals involved in the crash remains unknown.

The CHP is currently investigating the cause of the crash. As more details emerge, we will provide updates on the situation.
