Sacramento, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Leaves Injuries 

Sacramento, CA (January 8, 2025) – Injuries were reported following a two-vehicle crash on January 8th in the southbound lanes of I-5, just north of the I-80 interchange. The collision occurred around 5:45 p.m., prompting an immediate response from the California Highway Patrol and local emergency services. According to preliminary reports, one of the vehicles involved sustained significant damage, while the other was partially obstructing the roadway. Emergency responders provided medical assistance at the scene and transported several individuals to nearby hospitals for further evaluation. Authorities closed the roadway, conducted their investigation, and cleared the wreckage. The road was fully reopened later in the evening. The cause of the crash is under active investigation.
