San Diego, CA – Injuries in Late-Night Crash on I-5 S Near SR-94

San Diego, CA (April 15, 2025) – A late-night crash on Interstate 5 south at the SR-94 north off-ramp left one or more individuals injured on April 14. The incident occurred just before midnight, at around 11:18 p.m., and involved a white Ford Escape and an unidentified vehicle. According to the California Highway Patrol, emergency crews were dispatched promptly to respond to the scene. Upon arrival, responders found both vehicles in the travel lanes with severe damage. Paramedics provided on-site medical evaluations, and multiple people were reported to have sustained injuries requiring further treatment. The severity of the injuries has not been disclosed. CHP is investigating the events that led to the crash.
