San Diego, CA – Injuries in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S at E St.

San Diego, CA (April 15, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on April 15 along the southbound I-5 near the E Street exit in San Diego resulted in injuries and prompted a swift emergency response. California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene shortly after 5:34 p.m., finding a red Kia Rio and a gray Ford sedan involved in a collision. Although traffic remained mostly unaffected, medical personnel were dispatched immediately due to reports of injuries.

Paramedics assessed the injured at the scene and transported them to a local hospital for additional care. The severity of the injuries has not been disclosed, but authorities confirmed that all involved parties were conscious and responsive. Officers with the San Diego Police Department assisted CHP in directing traffic and gathering statements from those involved.
