San Diego, CA – Injuries Reported in Crash on I-5 at Carmel Mountain Bypass
San Diego, CA (April 9, 2025) – A traffic collision involving a commercial truck and a sedan occurred on April 9th along the northbound lanes of I-5 at the Carmel Mountain Bypass in San Diego, leaving one person injured. The crash happened around 4:42 p.m. when a large yellow commercial truck and a white sedan collided, coming to rest in the middle lane. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) quickly arrived at the scene and secured the area. Paramedics assessed the individuals involved and confirmed that at least one person had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency medical services provided treatment at the scene before transferring the injured party to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
