San Diego, CA (May 3, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash occurred during the morning rush hour on May 3 along northbound I-5, just before the SR-52 east connector in San Diego, leaving one person with major injuries. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene at around 8:18 a.m. and immediately updated the status of the collision to a major injury incident. Several vehicles were involved, though the total number remains unconfirmed. Authorities requested multiple tow trucks, and paramedics were dispatched to assist the injured.
