San Diego, CA – Semi-Truck Crash w/ Injuries on SB I-5 at OR State Line

San Diego, CA (March 3, 2025) – A collision involving two semi-trucks resulted in injuries Sunday afternoon, March 2, on southbound Interstate 5 near the Oregon state line, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash was first reported at 2:50 p.m., with one big rig veering off the roadway and another coming to a stop on the shoulder.

Emergency responders, including Mount Shasta paramedics and CHP officers, arrived at the scene to assist the injured. Updates on the condition of those injured have not yet been released. Heavy-duty recovery vehicles were dispatched to the scene to remove the damaged trucks. The CHP is continuing its investigation into the cause of the crash.
