San Diego, CA – Two Injured in I-5 S Collision Near E St
San Diego, CA (April 6, 2025) – A two-car crash on Interstate 5 South near E Street and the South Bay region resulted in injuries late Sunday night, April 6, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The accident occurred just before midnight and involved a black Hyundai Elantra and a white Lincoln MKX. Initial reports indicate that one of the vehicles may have attempted to switch lanes when the collision occurred.
CHP officers arrived promptly to secure the scene and provide first aid alongside local EMS teams. Two individuals were reported injured and were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.
