San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-5 Near SeaWorld Drive Injures Several

San Diego, CA (October 30, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 northbound near SeaWorld Drive and Tecolote Road left multiple people injured on Thursday evening, October 30. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 6:00 p.m. and involved a dark-colored sedan and a gray SUV.

The impact caused one of the vehicles to block the middle lanes, prompting a quick response from local police and paramedics. Several victims were assessed for injuries, and at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The California Highway Patrol coordinated with the Merced Communications Center to manage traffic and document the crash scene.

Crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles, and all lanes were reopened later that evening. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
