San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at SR-52 Leaves One Injured 

San Diego, CA (April 17, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident involving a white Lexus IS250 and a gray Chevrolet Malibu caused injuries Thursday evening, April 17, on I-5 South at La Jolla Parkway near the SR-52 junction. The collision was reported around 4:41 p.m. on April 17. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash resulted in airbags being deployed in the Lexus. Emergency services, including the CHP and Freeway Service Patrol, responded quickly. First responders assessed injuries at the scene, and at least one individual was transported to a local medical facility for further treatment. The cause of the crash is currently being investigated, and authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
