San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5/Mile of Cars Leaves One Injured

San Diego, CA (April 3, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident on I-5 South, near the Mile of Cars, resulted in injuries late Wednesday evening, April 2. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 5:59 PM and involved a white truck and a white sedan. Emergency responders, including paramedics and tow trucks, arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported. One person sustained injuries and received immediate medical attention before being transported to a local hospital. The collision caused significant traffic delays, with the white sedan blocking the number 1 lane. A tow truck from Tony’s Auto Center arrived to remove the damaged vehicles. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
