San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S Near Mile of Cars Causes Injuries

San Diego, CA (April 2, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on the southbound lanes of I-5, just north of the Mile of Cars, resulted in injuries Wednesday evening, April 2. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the scene around 5:59 p.m. and confirmed that a white truck and a white sedan had collided, causing moderate damage to both vehicles.

Emergency medical responders were dispatched nd provided transportation for those requiring hospitalisation. Crews worked to remove debris from the roadway. Tow trucks were called in to clear the damaged vehicles, allowing normal traffic flow to resume.

CHP officers are currently investigating the incident.
