San Juan Capistrano, CA (May 8, 2025) – On May 7, a four-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 near Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano, resulting in multiple injuries. The crash involved a silver Ford Fusion, a red Mazda sedan, a gray van, and a gray truck. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers responded promptly to the scene, finding the vehicles scattered near the fog line on the right shoulder. First responders provided on-site medical assessments and assisted the injured parties. One individual sustained injuries requiring transportation to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.
