According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision occurred between a gray Toyota Corolla and a white box truck during the morning commute. The incident was first reported around 10:28 a.m., prompting an immediate response from Orange County emergency crews.

Upon arrival, CHP officers found both vehicles blocking lanes and causing significant traffic delays in the area. First responders provided on-site medical assistance to the injured parties.
