Santa Ana, CA (May 3, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a gray Chevrolet Suburban and a gray Honda Civic occurred on the evening of May 3 along the northbound Interstate 5 near the Main Street off-ramp in Santa Ana, resulting in injuries. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash was reported around 6:42 p.m., and officers arrived shortly afterwards to find both vehicles on the right shoulder. CHP confirmed that no major injuries were sustained, and no one required transportation to a hospital. However, emergency medical personnel were called to the scene and provided on-site evaluation to all involved. The crash is believed to have resulted from a sudden lane change or misjudged merging, though an official cause has not yet been determined.
