Santa Ana, CA – Motorcycle Rider Injured in Crash on I-5 N/ Culver Dr
Santa Ana, CA (October 21, 2025) – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured following a collision on Interstate 5 northbound near Culver Drive on Tuesday, October 21. The California Highway Patrol responded around 3:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash involving a blue sports car and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, officers found the motorcyclist lying on the ground with visible injuries.
Paramedics provided emergency care before transporting the rider to a nearby trauma center for further treatment. The driver of the sports car remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Lanes were briefly closed as officials examined skid marks and debris to determine the events leading to the collision. Early reports indicate that merging traffic and lane changes may have been factors in the crash.
