Santa Ana, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S Near SR-55 Leaves Several Injured

Santa Ana, CA (April 4, 2025) – A three-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 South near the SR-55 South interchange led to multiple injuries on the night of Thursday, April 3. The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred just before 10:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes, with a white Lexus sedan, a black Audi, and a third unidentified vehicle involved. The vehicles were initially blocking multiple lanes before being moved to the right shoulder. Emergency services, including CHP Unit C86-504, arrived on the scene and assisted the injured. At least two people sustained injuries from the crash and were treated at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The cause of the crash is under active investigation.
