Santa Ana, CA – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-5 N at Lake Forest Results in Injuries

Santa Ana, CA (April 21, 2025) – A three-vehicle accident on the northbound side of Interstate 5 at Lake Forest Drive left multiple people injured on the evening of April 21. The California Highway Patrol in Orange County responded to the crash around 6:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found three vehicles involved and blocking the slow lanes. The crash resulted in traffic delays as first responders assessed the situation.

Emergency medical personnel treated several victims on the scene. As per CHP reports, one person was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and care. The extent of the injuries has not yet been disclosed. Preliminary investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash. No citations have been issued at this time.
