Santa Ana, CA – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-5 N at State College Blvd Causes Injuries

Santa Ana, CA (January 14, 2024) – On the morning of January 14th, a serious three-vehicle collision occurred on I-5 North at State College Blvd. This incident resulted in injuries, a vehicle fire, and the closure of multiple lanes. Upon the California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) arrival at the scene, it was discovered that one of the vehicles was fully engulfed in flames, blocking lanes 3, 4, and 5. Emergency responders, including the Huntington Beach Police Department, were on the scene to manage the situation. A person was trapped inside one of the vehicles and needed to be extricated due to reported injuries.
