Santa Clarita, CA – Collision on I-5 Near Valencia Blvd Causes Injuries

Santa Clarita, CA (April 17, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and two other vehicles resulted in injuries along I-5 South near Valencia Boulevard on Thursday night, April 17. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 8:25 p.m.. The incident involved a silver Hyundai Sonata, a black SUV, and a white semi-truck. All vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder of the freeway. One of the vehicles, a Nissan Armada, suffered major front-right damage and required towing. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, and at least one person sustained injuries. The injured party received on-site assistance before being taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. Tow trucks from Santa Clarita City Towing responded to assist with vehicle removal, and traffic was partially disrupted as a result of the crash. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by CHP officers who are reviewing possible factors.
