Santa Clarita, CA (March 23, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 5 South near Lyons Avenue resulted in injuries on Sunday evening, March 23, prompting an emergency response. According to California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 7:11 p.m. and involved three vehicles, including a black Subaru Outback, a white Chevrolet pickup, and a silver sedan.

The collision initially blocked multiple lanes, with one vehicle reportedly facing sideways following the impact. CHP and paramedics arrived at the scene and assisted those injured. One person required medical evaluation, though the severity of their injuries has not been disclosed. Authorities worked to move all vehicles to the right shoulder, reopening all lanes by 7:32 p.m. Investigators are determining the cause of the accident.
